Santa Teresa Beach in Costa Rica is located in the south of the Nicoya Peninsula in the North of Puntarenas Province. This beach is renowned worldwide for some of the best surfing in the entire country. Private and secluded, Santa Teresa Beach lies on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, and is roughly 150 km west of the capital city San José. You can also get here by catching a domestic flight from the Juan Santa Maria International Airport to Tambor Airport, which is a 25-minute flight. From here, you can take a bus or taxi to Santa Teresa, which is less than an hour’s drive away.
